How Few is funded

Few is a record of one Bitcoiner’s trip down the rabbit hole, written up as guides. It’s for people who’ve got far enough to want to do this stuff themselves, properly. This page says where the money comes from and what it can’t buy.

The guides are free.

Free to read.
Read, print and share every guide. No paywall, no account, no email needed.
No cookies.
No cookies or pixels, so there’s no data about you to sell.

Where the money comes from.

1. Tips.
The ⚡ Tip sats button at the bottom of every page takes Lightning. Any amount. Nothing changes if you tip or don’t.
2. One sponsor at a time.
One site-wide slot, booked by the week and paid by Lightning invoice. Always labelled “Sponsored”. Prices are on the sponsor page.
3. Affiliate codes and paid placements.
A few guides have a referral code for a product we’ve used. The guide says so at the top, before any link. You pay the same price either way.

What money can’t buy.

Lived first.
We only write guides for things that have actually been used and done. A sponsor can’t get a guide for something we haven’t tried.
No paid rankings or reviews.
A sponsor or affiliate doesn’t change what’s listed, the order, or what we say about it. If something has a problem, the guide says so.
No previews for sponsors.
Sponsors don’t see guides before they go up, and don’t get to edit them.
We say no.
If we wouldn’t use it ourselves, we don’t take the money.
Every paid link is marked.
No hidden links, no unmarked codes.

The disclosure lines we use.

SponsoredThis week few.guide is sponsored by [Name]. They paid for this spot. They don’t see or change our guides.
Affiliate codefew.guide may earn a small fee if you sign up. It costs you nothing extra.
On X or Nostrsponsored: [Name] paid for this post.

If a post or guide was paid for in any way, one of these lines goes on it, however small the amount.
