Can a 2-of-3 multisig from Sparrow be used in Nunchuk?
Short answerYes. Export the wallet descriptor from Sparrow and import it into Nunchuk. Same addresses, same signers.
Steps
- Build the 2-of-3 in Sparrow with three signers, e.g. three SeedSigners with dice seeds.
- Back up the wallet descriptor with every seed. Without it, rebuilding is hard.
- In Sparrow: Settings tab → Export… → Output Descriptor → Show QR or Export File.
- In Nunchuk: Add wallet (+) → Recover existing wallet → Recover via QR code, or load the BSMS/descriptor file.
- Check the first receive address matches in both apps.
- Test a small spend with 2 of the 3 signers.

- Why 2-of-3?
- Lose one key and you’re fine. One thief with one key gets nothing.
- Does SeedSigner work with Nunchuk?
- Yes. Nunchuk lists SeedSigner as a supported signer, and it signs over QR.
- Is Nunchuk free?
- The free tier lets you hold every key yourself. Paid plans add a backup key and inheritance.
